MS Companion ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the MS Companion application and website (the "Service"). We built this app for the Multiple Sclerosis community, and we take the sensitivity of your health information seriously.

- Account information: your email address and authentication credentials, which are managed securely through our authentication provider.
- Health and wellness data: information you choose to enter, including symptom logs, daily check-ins, medications, medication schedules, journal entries, and recipes you save.
- Payment information: if you subscribe, payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the Service is used to help us improve it.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Service, including to:
- Provide your personal dashboard, tracking, journaling, and medication features.
- Send medication reminders and notifications you enable on your device.
- Process subscriptions and manage your account.
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your health data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
How Your Data Is Stored and Protected
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Your health information is protected by row-level security so that you — and only you — can access your own records. Access to production systems is restricted and monitored.
Notifications
If you enable medication reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You can disable them at any time in the app or in your device settings.
Your Rights and Choices
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below and we will permanently delete your account and associated health data.

MS Companion is a wellness and self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your medications and care decisions.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
